IMG_9897 - Wak.JPG - Wa:k in the late 1800's probably looked very similar to the Hohokam villages which thrived along the Santa Cruz River for centuries. Most of the daily activities were done outside in wokr areas or under ramadas. Pottery making was an important activity since clay vessels held drinking water and were used in cooking.
